Review/Feedback - Gallery 16 : Luxury Penthouse - South Coast Realty
Whilst the location, views and general facilities supplied at the Gallery 16 Luxury Penthouse were fantastic and we mainly enjoyed our stay it could have most certainly been made better by South Coast Realty. I was disappointed in the miscommunication and lack of communication given to me by staff at South Coast Realty.
I had called South Coast by phone a few days prior to checking into the Penthouse to ask a number of questions relating to what was provided in the Penthouse. The person I spoke to that day (Em I think) could not provide all the answers, which was ok and advised that I would receive an email to the answers to my questions. In particular, one specific question was whether coffee pods were provided in the Penthouse as the photos had them displayed in this house? If they were not provided, I was willing to buy the pods once I knew the coffee machine brand to ensure they would be compatible with the machine. I received an email on 21 April 2026 from Sam responded by saying 'There is coffee pods at the apartment for guests''. As that was confirmation, I did not bring any coffee pods to the Penthouse. I enjoy my coffee and was delighted to see a coffee machine in the Penthouse. To my surprise and disappointment when we got there, I looked around everywhere in the kitchen, and pantry to find there was none! There was no coffee whatsoever not even instant coffee! Only tea was provided. After looking for some time and wasting time in doing so, I then rang South Coast Realty to find out where the coffee/coffee pods were? The person I spoke with (Amelia I think?) advised that there was no one there to assist me in the matter and that it was basically wrong information I had been given and there was nothing she could do.
Then on the 24 April 2026 (after I had arrived at the Penthouse and I had called South Coast Realty) I received another email stating of the miscommunication advising 'This property is a fully self - contained property, coffee pods are not provided.' This was way too late after the fact!
I also had a few other questions which I emailed on 23 April 26 which was never responded to about clarifying check in time as I had received an SMS text message stating I could check in at 2pm on the day of arrival. Also had questions about what video games were provided and how and when I would receive the information about keys etc. Sadly, I never received a response to any of those questions from that email :( I had to ask another guest staying in the accommodation who had just arrived the same time, how to operate the security gate for my car to enter. They also explained this information was not provided to them. These details should be provided to the guests prior to checking in to avoid confusion and wasting time. The only information displayed on the portal was the key code (thankfully was correct) and the WIFI password (not correct). The WIFI password however displayed on the portal I discovered was incorrect and found that it was a different WIFI password to enter :(. Another detail that should have been confirmed. After all this I did start to wonder whether any of the information on the portal was correct? Then the feedback email was sent from South Coast Stay on Saturday advising thanks for staying with us and to leave a review. Considering that I was still booked in to stay Saturday night 25 April 2026 and would be departing on Sunday 26 April thought this was weird?. I would usually write a review of the accommodation upon completion of my stay.
This experience did highlight the lack of communication and instructions given to guests staying in the accommodation. Perhaps more specific information should be listed on the portal advising what is available ie coffee pods, what specific video games and more check in details regarding the security gate and general communication from staff could be improved on. The stay would have been so much more enjoyable if all these things were communicated effectively and detailed prior to the stay.

Great place with a great view
The penthouse apartment 16 is an amazing place for a short stay. It is large and roomy, with a nice balcony looking out to Granite Island and the bay. As it is on the main road into central Victor there is some road noise but this is expected for the convenience of the location. Bedrooms are quiet as they are at the rear of the apartment.

fantastic large apartment with wonderful views from both the balcony and inside the living area to watch sunrise/sunsets and the daily world go by

We had the best relaxing short stay holiday, gallery 16 penthouse was spectacular . This would be the best accommodation we have stayed. simply stunning. great location, beautiful view. Very clean.
