2 Carrickalinga Cove Apartments

Very clean and comfotable. Lovely surrounds. Peaceful few days away and an easy walk to the beach. Only thing we needed was instructions for tv and dvd player. Other than that a lovely place.

A hopeless booking system. Booked as a travel auction then reverted to a holiday stay requiring $500 cover charge which was deducted from my account and then told it would take 7 days to be put back in. I certainly would not take another travel auction booked through south coast realty.

There were cob webs, sand oven was bad. Pay extra $100 for cleaning on top of your booking fee which in itself is ridiculous! Isnt that part of booking a place anyway then you are supposed to leave it clean for next guests so should get paid the $100 back! Had stale smell from being locked up. We had to leave every window open whole time just to stay in it then had to put up with noisy wind. Couldn't even watch channel 7 as TV was too old to get video. We wanted to watch our football game but couldn't. No wifi. Very average. Left night early. Waste of money. Won't be back.

Great location with 3 minute walk to the coast. Close to Normanville and Yankallilla and only 30 minutes from Victor Harbor. Space for a family with all the amenities including swimming pool and sauna. Great place to relax and get away from the crowds.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really appreciated the location — being so close to the beach was a big highlight, and the pool area was lovely and well maintained. The apartment itself was comfortable enough for our stay. However, we did notice quite a bit of dust and some cobwebs around the apartment on arrival, which was disappointing, especially considering there is a cleaning fee. It didn’t feel like it had been properly cleaned before we checked in. The apartment also feels a little dated and could benefit from some updating. It also would have been nice to have a smart TV so guests can log into their own Netflix or streaming accounts, as this is something many travellers expect now. That said, the great location and pool did make up for some of these downsides, and we still enjoyed our time overall.
